Auto & Manufacturing

What the demo shows

We designed and deployed a multi-module VR simulation system for welding operations in automotive manufacturing. It runs on wireless Meta Quest 3 headsets and lets factory workers train on lifelike machines in a fully virtual workshop, with no risk to themselves or to production.

Modules

  • MIG welding machine
  • Stud welding machine
  • Manual projection welding machine
  • Manual spot welding machine
  • Robotic welding machine
  • Stamping operations

Each machine simulation offers:

  • 5-minute guided training with interactive controls
  • Multilingual audio narration, for example Tamil and Telugu
  • Built-in safety compliance training
  • Assessment quizzes to evaluate performance

Who it is for

Training heads and plant managers in automotive manufacturing who onboard welding and stamping operators across several plant sites, often in more than one language.

How it works

The experience opens with a mixed reality company introduction, given by a digital avatar inside a dojo-style virtual room. The trainee then moves into the machine modules.

Each module is a short hands-on simulation with a first-person view inside the workshop. The trainee works the machine step by step, hears AI-generated voice guidance in their own language, and takes an assessment quiz with real-time feedback at the end.

We built every 3D model from scratch using CAD files, photographs and workshop layouts, so each machine looks as it does on the factory floor. That includes the ladders, harnesses and safety fixtures around it.

Training heads use dashboards to monitor progress, safety compliance and performance across plant sites.

Results

Specific metrics are confidential. The deployed modules have:

  • Reduced operator errors during onboarding
  • Removed the need to stop machines for training
  • Improved retention and confidence
  • Delivered the same standard of training across multiple plant sites

Where it is used

Automotive welding and stamping lines, deployed wirelessly on Meta Quest 3 across plant sites. We build custom VR training modules for automotive, electrical and industrial manufacturers, from stamping operations to transformer testing.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the Metaverse911 VR welding training for automotive plants?

The Metaverse911 VR welding training is a multi-module VR simulation system for automotive manufacturing that runs on wireless Meta Quest 3 headsets. Factory workers train on lifelike machines in a fully virtual workshop, with no risk to themselves and no machine downtime. It covers five types of welding machine plus stamping operations.

Which welding machines are covered in the Meta Quest 3 VR welding training?

The Meta Quest 3 VR welding training built by Metaverse911 covers a MIG welding machine, a stud welding machine, a manual projection welding machine, a manual spot welding machine and a robotic welding machine, as well as stamping operations. Each machine simulation offers 5-minute guided training with interactive controls, built-in safety compliance training and an assessment quiz.

Can the VR welding training be delivered in regional languages like Tamil and Telugu?

The Metaverse911 VR welding training offers multilingual audio narration, for example in Tamil and Telugu. Trainees hear AI-generated voice guidance in their own language as they work each machine step by step, which suits automotive plants that onboard welding and stamping operators across several sites in more than one language.

How realistic are the machines in the VR welding training?

Metaverse911 built every 3D model in the VR welding training from scratch using CAD files, photographs and workshop layouts, so each machine looks as it does on the factory floor. That includes the ladders, harnesses and safety fixtures around it. Trainees see the workshop from a first-person view and operate the machine step by step.

What results has the VR welding training delivered in automotive plants?

Specific metrics for the VR welding training are confidential, but the deployed modules have reduced operator errors during onboarding, removed the need to stop machines for training, improved retention and confidence, and delivered the same standard of training across multiple plant sites. Training heads use dashboards to monitor progress, safety compliance and performance across sites.
