More about 360 virtual factory tours

What a 360 virtual factory tour is
A 360 virtual factory tour is an interactive walk-through of your plant. Viewers move from point to point, look around in every direction and open hotspots that explain each machine, line and test. It shows the scale of your facility, your safety measures, testing and processes as if the viewer were standing on the shop floor.
The same tour works at exhibitions, in client meetings and in presentations. It lets you show production capability where there is no room to bring a machine.

Who it is for
- Sales and export teams showing the plant to buyers overseas.
- Quality teams hosting customer audits.
- Management presenting to investors and dealers.
- Exhibition teams with limited booth space.
- Training teams who want trainees to see the plant and its processes first.
One tour can be tailored into versions for different audiences, such as buyers, partners or trainees.
How it works
Day 1: site visit and planning
We walk the plant with your team, agree the zones to cover and plan the storyboard around your priorities.
Day 2: the 360 shoot
Our crew films each point with 360 cameras, following your site safety guidelines. Where filming is not practical, the tour can be built in 3D instead.
Post-production: typically one week
We assemble the tour and add hotspots, information panels, narration and your branding.
Delivery
We export the tour for the devices you choose: VR headsets, a page on your website, or a touch-screen kiosk at your booth. Your team gets basic usage and deployment guidelines.

Frequently asked questions
How can a virtual factory tour help my business?
Buyers, auditors and investors can see your plant without travelling, which takes travel out of the sales cycle. You can reuse the same tour on your website, at exhibitions and in meetings.
Do visitors need special equipment to view the tour?
No. The tour runs in a web browser and on a phone. A VR headset gives a more immersive view, and a touch-screen kiosk works well at a booth.
Can the tour be used for training?
Yes. We can build a version for trainees, with hotspots that guide them through each process before they go on the shop floor.
How does the tour support sales and marketing?
You can embed it on your website, play it at your booth and share it with buyers before a meeting. Gandhi Automation uses its 360 VR experience at aviation exhibitions to sell hangar doors.
Can the tour be customised?
Yes. The storyboard, hotspots, branding, narration and device formats are all set to your needs.
