What AXR is

AXR is our immersive generative AI platform for soft-skills training and placement preparation. Learners practise conversations with AI avatars that act as their personal trainers: giving a talk, presenting a project, sitting an interview or handling a difficult colleague. Unlike a classroom role-play, they can practise as often as they like, in a realistic setting, without an audience.

AI mixed reality training for soft skills and placements

Who it is for

  • Universities preparing students for placements and interviews.
  • Companies training employees in communication and teamwork.

For universities, AXR works as a set of XR mentors that students can use whenever they need practice.

How it works

Learners choose a module and an environment, then speak with an AI avatar that responds to them. The platform offers several avatars and several virtual environments, so each scenario feels close to the real situation.

Three ways to access it

  • Virtual reality: fully immersive practice in a VR headset.
  • Mixed reality: the avatar appears in the learner's real surroundings.
  • Web: practice from a laptop browser, with no headset.

What is included

The platform modules can be customised. Standard modules cover:

  • Public speaking.
  • Project and thesis presentations.
  • Group discussion practice.
  • Resume pitch and elevator talk.
  • Technical interview simulation.
  • Mock HR interview.
  • Conflict resolution and teamwork.
  • Workplace communication.
